ASU School of Music student chamber ensembles perform movements from the chamber music repertory containing a fugue as its compositional design. Works include Schumann's Piano Quintet, Tchaikovsky's Quartet in B-Flat, Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 7, and the exciting last movement of Mendelssohn's Octet. The chamber ensemble groups showcased in this recital were coached by the Brentano String Quartet as part of the School of Music's Visiting String Quartet Residency Program.
