Guest speaker Horia-Favius Poenar is a lecturer in the Deparment of World and Comparative Literature at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj, Romania. His lecture is part of the "Literary Imaginary and the Poetics of Truth" conference, which will explore different approaches to the specific competences of comparatism (world and comparative literature) today. This conference continues and extends the academic exchanges between the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York and its academic partners, the Babes-Bolyai University and Arizona State University.
