The Institute of Human Origins is proud to welcome visitors during ASU's Night of the Open Door.
See “Lucy,” the fossil skeleton of the 3.2 million-year-old ancestor to modern humans, recently called “Queen of the Hominin Skeletons.” The Institute of Human Origins opens its collection of fossil casts and bones with presentations about why Lucy is a special example of how humans developed and where we are finding clues to how modern humans developed and survived.
The Institute of Human Origins main office is Room 103 of the Social Sciences Building on the Tempe campus. Part of the School of Human Evolution and Social Change in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the institute will be open 6–8 p.m. during this special ASU event.
