Night of the Open Door: The Science of Water Art - A Citizen Science Project
Human Evolution and Social Change
SHESC Bldg, 2nd Floor
Campus: Tempe
Cost: Free
Stop by and experience how some of ASU's top social scientists and students, working in tandem with community partners and educators, are discovering and applying critical information about the role water plays in each of our lives. We've engaged youth in an art project expressing their relationship with water now and the future to examine how humans, and particularly the younger generation, think about the future of our health, water insecurity and gobal climate change. Findings will be incorporated into a multi-year global enthnohydrology study to help inform communities how to respond to these critical challenges.
This is an ASU Night of the Open Door event presented by the School of Human Evolution and Social Change in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. It will occur 5–9 p.m. in the SHESC Building, located on the northwest corner of Tyler and Cady Malls on the Tempe campus.
