ASU School of Music doctoral student Kira Rugen presents a lecture and concert investigating Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610, the seminal setting of the Roman Catholic Vespers service. Following the lecture, the ASU Solis Camerata Choir, conducted by Ms. Rugen, performs selections from the work.
