Film Screening: 'Chasing Coral'

Faded coral

Stressed? So are coral!

Take a short study break by joining us for a free screening of "Chasing Coral," a 1.5 hour documentary that displays the beauty, harmony and disharmony between the oceans, their coral and humans.

Here’s why coral should concern you:

• Coral are living things, not just nature’s colorful home decor

• Their decline will lead to even more damaging tropical storms

• We are dependant on the reefs for food and medicine

Whether you live in a desert or near the coast, your awareness can help maintain the beauty of the world for everyone.

This event is sponsored by the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts; Barrett, The Honors College; Programming and Activities Board; and general biology II honors students.

Editor's note: This event has moved from its originally listed location, the Cronkite Theater, room 202.
