Indigenous Identity and the Athletic Experience with Billy Mills

Join the Alliance of Indigenous Peoples as they host Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills. Mills will share his experience as an Indigenous athlete and how identity interacts with the industry of sports. Additional speakers include Amanda Blackhorse, lead plaintiff in Blackhorse v. Pro-Football, Inc. and Kenneth Shropshire, CEO of ASU's Global Sport Institute. This event is in collaboration with the Global Sport Institute and the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy.
