"Coco" Image

Visually stunning and emotionally gripping, the animated film "Coco," inspired by Dia de los Muertos, explores the intersections of family, culture, life, and even death. A celebration and commodification of Mexico’s rich cultural traditions, "Coco" invites viewers to share in the wonder and meaning of the holiday. This film also enables viewers to better understand and address pressing issues affecting Arizona and the nation, including immigration and recent government actions that simultaneously disarm and provoke.
