Join the Arizona State University Library Map and Geospatial Hub for this workshop on how to access easy-to-use geologic map data.

We'll review sources of free, publicly-available digital geologic data and explore these data using easy-to-use web viewers and desktop-based GIS software.

This workshop assumes no previous experience with GIS.

Non-ASU affiliates (members of the general public) are welcome to attend. Priority seating will be given to ASU affiliates (students, faculty, staff, alumni).

Twenty computer workstations are available in the lab. Alternatively, workshop participants may opt to bring their own laptop. A maximum of 40 total participants may attend.
