All About Rattlesnakes

rattlesnake

How dangerous are rattlesnakes? What should you do if you encounter one? How do they survive and thrive in our desert? Discover the answers to these questions and more in this exciting presentation in which Brennan Basler (also known as "Ranger B") shares amazing facts about these misunderstood reptiles.

Basler is interpretive ranger at the Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa. Prior to his work as a ranger, Basler was an educator at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix and the Phoenix Zoo.

In addition to his work as an interpreter of nature, “Ranger B” is an avid hiker and desert explorer, with a serious addiction to anything outdoors! His knowledge about our desert’s wildlife will provide an invaluable resource to your understanding of desert creatures.

This presentation is part of the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts' Science and Mathematics Colloquium Series at ASU Polytechnic campus.
