Arbitration, the What and the Why

Come to the Dispute Resolution Group's inaugural event! We will be hosting experienced Phoenix-based Arbitrators to discuss the ins and outs of being a third-party neutral. The panelists will discuss the unique substantive and procedural aspects of arbitration. The panelists' diverse backgrounds and expertise in this area will make this an event you don't want to miss. 

Panelists:

Hon. Barry Schneider (Ret.): Mr. Schneider is a retired superior court judge and is now a leading expert in mediation and arbitration practices in Arizona. During his time on the bench, Mr. Schneider was one of Arizona's first judges to employ and promote settlement conferences. 

Hon Colin Campbell (Ret.): During Mr. Campbellā€™s 17 years as a Judge, he sat on assignments related to nearly every area of law, including civil, criminal, juvenile, and family matters. He uses his extensive trial experience to resolve a wide range of disputes here in Arizona. 

Renee Gerstman: Mrs. Gerstman's substantial experience in commercial litigation, combined with her neutral training, makes her a skilled and effective arbitrator. Mrs. Gerstman was the former chairperson for the State Bar of Arizona ADR Section Executive Counsel and numerous other executive positions. 

Michael Palumbo: Mr. Palumbo brings more than 30 years of civil litigation experience to assist parties in resolving their business disputes. Mr. Palumbo has also served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Maricopa County Superior Courts since 1998, presiding over trials and dozens of settlement conferences.
