Architecture Semester-End Exhibition
Join us for a comprehensive exhibition of fall semester studio projects for the architecture students from first-year through sixth-year on Friday, Dec. 6 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Student Pavilion in the heart of our Tempe Campus. This event will be free and open to anyone who would like to see a diverse range of projects and to talk with the students who designed them.
We are all familiar with traditional architecture final reviews that provide students with advice about how they could improve their work if they had two more weeks to continue working beyond the end of the semester. This semester, students will receive this feedback two weeks earlier to allow them time to address these concerns and suggestions in time for the December 6th exhibition.
Student work will be featured from our Global Engagement Studios, one in Mexico City taught by Professor Claudio Vekstein, and another in Puerto Rico taught by Instructor Karín Santiago and Faculty Associate Diane Jacobs. Additional work will be on display from a community-partnered studio focused on addressing design and policy challenges of homelessness that is taught by Faculty Associate Katherine Dudzik-Smith; from an Alternative Desert Cities studio taught by Faculty Associate Brian Maddock; and many other studios.
