ASU Dance Experience 2019

This event last occurred Oct. 19, 2019

The ASU Dance Experience is a day of dance technique and creative practice experiences for high school students, community college students, ASU dance minors, studio dancers and Arizona dance teachers. We are offering a number of movement classes at varying experience levels including postmodern contemporary, urban, contemporary ballet, jazz, social-latin, flamenco, Chinese dance, creative practice and teachers' classes. Come meet the ASU dance faculty and students from the program.

The event is designed to inform participants about all ASU dance has to offer and to provide opportunities for questions to be answered regarding the unique nature of the ASU dance program. We will be holding an early interview (audition) for entrance into the BFA dance degrees at the end of the day from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Interview participants can apply for scholarship consideration and early acceptance.

There is a nominal fee for each school. Schools will be charged $50 total for up to 20 students and $65 for schools bringing  21 students or more.
