Barre Conditioning

Join this low-impact total body workout that combines ballet-inspired movements with elements of strength training to focus on muscle toning, sculpting and lengthening. Dance background is not necessary. A mat is optional for a short core-focused segment on the floor. Otherwise, equipment that can be found around your home or office will be used during this class. This would include something to mimic a set of two or three-pound dumbbells, water bottles, small books or anything else that is light and can easily be held. Kristin Whitmeyer, program coordinator, at the Tempe Sun Devil Fitness Complex will lead this class.
