Borderlands Produce Rescue — ASU Tempe
Produce on Wheels Without Waste disperses 10 million pounds of fresh, rescued produce annually to communities at various sites throughout southern Arizona and the metropolitan Tucson and Phoenix service areas.
Contribute $12 to shop for up to 70 pounds of fresh produce for your family or to share with neighbors, friends or someone in need.
Distribution of produce will take place at the ASU Tempe campus on Lot 59, which is located directly east of Wells Fargo Arena.
Produce on Wheels Without Waste is hosted by Changemaker Central at ASU which exists to create a university-wide culture that empowers students to apply their passion, knowledge and expertise to create innovative solutions to local, national and global challenges. They do this by providing the opportunities and resources to inspire, catalyze and sustain student-driven social change through community service, high-impact careers and social entrepreneurship.
