The Brandywine Workshop Collection

Juan Sanchez Confused Paradise

In the fall of 2015, the ASU Art Museum was invited to visit the Brandywine Workshop in Philadelphia to select a “satellite collection” of prints from their archive. The 59 chosen artworks are culturally diverse, social, political, spiritual and abstract with vibrant colors, energy and narrative. "The Brandywine Workshop Collection" is an exhibition of 18 of those works and includes prints by Sam Gilliam, Willie Birch, Betye Saar, Tomie Arai and Carm Little-Turtle.

Supported by the Evelyn Smith Exhibition Fund.

If you would like to bring your class or group to see an exhibition or collection, and/or meet with a curator, please contact Andrea Feller, Curator of Education at andrea.feller@asu.edu
