Circles of Truth Story Dialog
Join the Circles of Truth team — a multi-generational group of students, staff and faculty from the ASU community and the local Phoenix community — for this one-hour lunch and story circle on Nov. 16, 12–1 p.m. at ASU Polytechnic campus.
Centering the lived experiences of marginalized people, including migrant/immigrant people, queer people and people of color, is imperative to increasing a diverse and inclusive educational environment. “Circles of Truth” is a decolonized approach to creating multicultural spaces for students and the community to share their diverse stories at Arizona State University.
Working in partnership with Rising Youth Theatre, the storytelling sessions are a launch point for co-creating zines, podcasts and other media that grow from these dialogues.
The project is funded by a seed grant by the Institute for Humanities Research (IHR) at ASU.
