'For Closure'

'For Closure'

"For Closure" is artist Jonah Amadeus’ examination of modern Americana. His emotional landscapes explore the preconceptions, expectations and reality of manifesting “The American Dream.” Through his time-based ceramic sculptures and video installations Amadeus investigates the personal costs of attachment and the lure of consumerism. Exploring issues of income inequality, predatory financiers and oligarchical policy makers, Amadeus revels in entropy as the self-destructive nature of his work finds closure and relief in its therapeutic ruin.
