'Conservation Conversations' hosted by Elephantopia

During this lunch hour discussion, conservationist Henry Mwape will give a short presentation followed by an open session for Q&A. Elephantopia is launching this new lecture series, Conservation Conversations, in Arizona. The series is free and open to the public. Elephantopia is raising awareness about wildlife conservation and community development in Zambia, while discussing ways people here in Arizona can get involved. 

Presenter: Henry Mwape, Zambian Carnivore Programme (ZCP)

Henry Mwape is a senior ecologist and education coordinator for ZCP's conservation education program. He was raised in Mfuwe and is a former Conservation Club member. Mwape joined the Zambian Carnivore Programme in 2010 as an intern while he was still at the University of Zambia and is currently involved in all aspects of the organization's carnivore research. In 2018, he was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship to study spatial dynamics of the Luangwa lions at the University of Arizona.
