CREAM!

School of Film Dance and Theatre 2019-20 Season poster with photos of students in performances.

Colorado-based bakery owners Lotta and Laszlo Daniels, whose business plummeted after they denied a same-sex couple a wedding cake, have one last hope – a reality show called “CREAM!” Host Michael is just the person to give their social views a glow-up and help them find the understanding they need. “CREAM!” is brought to life on stage by a delicious ensemble of characters, including a talking wedding cake, Jesus (sort of) and, for the cherry-on-top, a chorus of tap dancers who dollop whipped cream from scene to scene. Written by alumnus John J. Caswell, Jr. Directed by graduate student Katie Farrell.

Warning: Adult content, adult language. This immersive play contains peanuts, diffused scented oils and a simulated gun.
