Learn the ins and outs of data science, and get connected with experts, collaborators and compelling projects! 

Students, faculty and staff of all levels and disciplines are welcome to attend Open Lab in the ASU Library's Unit for Data Science and Analytics. A weekly event, Open Lab is an opportunity to network, seek mentors and projects, gain skills and work on real-world problems using data science. 

Data science for newcomers:
Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Advanced projects and topics:
Every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Encompassing a growing community of practitioners and partners from a diversity of fields, the Unit for Data Science and Analytics connects researchers university-wide to pursue research that leverages machine learning, data analytics, visual storytelling, network analysis, and text and data mining.  art history, engineering, language and literature, biology, urban planning, economics and business.
