This non-programming workshop offered by the ASU Library's Data Science and Analytics Unit will cover techniques and approaches to statistical data visualization and explore ways to use graphics in both research and presentation. The topics will include, but are not limited to, perception, composition, encoding and so much more. Bring headphones and be ready to actively participate. All levels of experience are welcome.

A one-of-a-kind resource, the Data Science and Analytics Unit at the ASU Library connects students, faculty and staff from all disciplines with training and research that engages machine learning, data analytics, visual storytelling, network analysis and text and data mining. Learning opportunities include workshops, weekly open lab sessions, project collaboration, a free online Canvas course and a podcast on misinformation.
