Each year, the School of Earth and Space Exploration scientists bring to life their research through innovative hands-on activities as part of this special Earth and Space Exploration Day. The School's research portfolio includes projects on every continent of the world, and extends to the Moon, Mars, Mercury and beyond. We are taking photos of the lunar surface with special cameras, sampling the Red Planet using robotic rovers, studying earthquakes big and small, investigating volcanoes and magma and much, much more!

3D Astronomy Shows will be held in the Marston Exploration Theater. Tickets will be distributed at guest services at the front desk.

Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC) team will be available to answer your questions about lunar exploration. Visit the LROC mission operations, see a real Moon rock, and pick up a Moon poster to take home with you.

Is Your Meteorite for Real? Experts from the Center for Meteorite Studies will be on hand to examine your rock specimens to determine if they are meteorites.

For educators: Free teacher resources will be available as well as contacts for outreach and more educational interactions with ASU scientists and students.
