Faculty Development Workshop: 'Using Digital Commons Platforms to Share Research and Collaborate'

Using Digital Commons Platforms

Research and Collaborate

This workshop will offer participants a brief introduction to three “digital commons” platforms, or open digital spaces specifically designed for humanities academics to share research, collaborate with fellow scholars and forge networks and connections online. During this workshop, we will explore the Humanities, Arts, Science and Technology Alliance and CollaboratoryHumanities Commons and ASU’s institutional repository.

This workshop will be beneficial to scholars seeking methods and spaces to share their research, solicit feedback or collaborate with scholars at ASU or other institutions while also managing the rights and access to their scholarship.

Though food will be provided, please keep in mind that the Institute for Humanities Research is a peanut-free space.

This event is part of the Faculty Development Workshop series and the Digital Humanities Initiative.

Location and parking

This event will be hosted in Ross-Blakley Hall at ASU's Tempe campus. The closest parking options are the visitor parking in Lot 44 and the Rural Road parking structure.
