Fall 2017 Teacher's Assistant Orientation (Session 1)

Will you be a first-time Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University during the Fall 2017 semester? If so, this orientation session is for you. First-time TAs must attend a TA orientation session.

Registration is mandatory, and there are two sessions to choose from; however, you are only required to attend one.

Thursday, Aug 10, 2017
1–5 p.m.

Friday, Aug 11, 2017
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Please expect to remain for the duration of the session (approximately four hours).

Parking

Parking for this event will not be validated.

All TA orientation sessions will be held on Tempe campus in Neeb Hall, room 105. For students without valid 2017-2018 ASU parking permits, nearest visitor parking can be found in Lot 20. Teaching and research assistant resources

The Teaching Assistant/Associate Development Program is required for all TAs and designed to provide new TAs with an orientation to ASU and the TA position.
