Fieldwork Fashion Show

Woman tying shoes while hiking.
This wild(life) runway event will highlight in a fun but informative way some of the typical necessities and smart clothing choices when conducting fieldwork or participating in wildlife ecology field trips during college.
  • What gear can protect you from the elements and help you be comfortable in different environmental conditions?
  • What should you bring along to be comfortable in camp at night?
We'll have all these answers and more!
Join ASU's WRSA (Wildlife Restoration Student Association) chapter and the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts as students walk the runway to reecommendations from seasoned field research participants about what to wear and what not to wear.
The event organizers are also seeking sponsors to contribute to a gear closet from which ASU Polytechnic campus students could borrow gear for upcoming field projects.
