First Saturday for Families at the ASU Art Museum: "Monster Party"

Boy wearing a mask at ASU Art Museum First Saturday for Families

What are those monsters really doing under your bed? Maybe it's not as scary as you think. Come explore our exhibition "BLOW UP: New Acquisitions at the ASU Art Museum" (on view through Aug. 20) and see Stephanie Gutheil's big, fun painting "Party Downstairs." Join artist Roy Wasson Valle to create your own monster inspired art project and participate in a monster dance lead by Allyson Yoder.

This free program takes place on the first Saturday of every month and invites children ages 4-12 and their families to make a creative project in conjunction with exhibitions. No registration required. All materials are provided and families can take home their artwork.

Support for First Saturdays for Families at the ASU Art Museum has been generously provided by The Steele Foundation.
