Gender and Ethnic Diversity in the Health Care Workforce

This event is part of the "We Need To Talk: Tough Conversations About Health" series hosted by ASU's College of Health Solutions.

Would you rather go to a doctor of the same race, gender or ethnicity as you? Could it make a difference in your treatment? Are there even enough medical professionals of different backgrounds to treat a wide variety of patients, both now and in the future?

Join the conversation as a panel discusses diversity in the health care profession. Changing demographics, policy, training and health disparities will be examined in a session that includes an audience Q&A. The event will be recorded as a live podcast.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
