'Half the Picture' Screening and Q&A

ASU Film Spark and Hollywood Invades Tempe present a screening of the documentary “Half the Picture,” followed by a Q&A with director Amy Adrion and cinematographer Soraya Sélène.

The documentary investigates hiring practices that discriminate against women in Hollywood and features interviews with a number of successful women directors, including Ava DuVernay and Catherine Hardwicke, about their career paths, struggles, inspiration and hopes for the future.
