Hannah Barco: Fathomings

Hannah Barco responds to ASU scholars in Fathomings

Hannah Barco responds to ASU scholars as they work to make our physical, political and social realities more legible and coherent. How many ways can we find our footing in this murky landscape? For "Fathomings," Barco assembles an installation to occupy the gallery with these various perspectives and when she returns in the spring, will host a participatory performance that stages the artwork’s undoing.

"Hannah Barco: Fathomings" is part of projectWALK, a collaboration between the Museum of Walking, ASU Art Museum and additional campus and community partners, which investigates the everyday activity of walking in one of the least walkable cities in the United States.

Supported by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and the Helme Prinzen Endowment.
