How To Come Up With Your Big Idea

Working on refining an idea or struggling to choose a project to pursue? Join this interactive workshop to learn about transforming your passion into creative ideas and then how to fast-track their realization. Get hands-on practice with these steps as well as tips from fellow entrepreneurs including Bassel Osmani, Co-Founder of Pita Jungle, and Tabitha Voss-Wall, Co-Founder of Bully Brew Co.

This online and in-person hybrid event is hosted by the Peoria Forward program, an innovative partnership with the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute at ASU and the City of Peoria. It will be broadcast from Pop-Up Peoria, the new collision space created by the City of Peoria. Attendees will have an opportunity to connect and tour the space while learning about these core steps of the entrepreneurial process.

Who: Anyone launching or interested in launching a project, business, venture or solution. This is an opportunity to share community expertise!

Where: In-person attendance at Pop-Up Peoria at Park West (9828 West Northern Avenue Peoria, AZ 85345 STE 1750). Virtual attendance is available via televeda (link provided upon registration).

When: Wednesday, June 2, 9–10:30 a.m.

Learning outcomes: By the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to:

  • Meet fellow entrepreneurs—including small business owners, creators and makers.
  • Identify major stages in the entrepreneurial process and how to navigate.
  • Identify helpful tips from experienced entrepreneurs.
  • Understand the range of resources offered at Pop-Up Peoria as well as in the community.
