Hybrid Violin Performance by Seth Thorn

Seth Dominicus Thorn will perform on violin at TEI 2019, the top-tier international ACM conference on tangible, embedded, and embodied interaction hosted this year by the School of Arts, Media and Engineering. Thorn's performance is one of only six selected for presentation during an hour-long evening concert at the Tempe Center for the Arts on March 19th. He will demonstrate the latest iteration of his hybrid violin system, an assemblage of novel haptic feedback elements, motion tracking, and refined signal processing.
