K-9 Disney Retirement Ceremony

K-9 Disney Retirement Ceremony

Join the Arizona State University Police Department in thanking K-9 Officer Disney for her service and to bid her farewell.

Disney began her career with ASUPD on July 24, 2009, as an Explosives Detection Canine. She has served eight years, equivalent to 56 human years.

Throughout her career, Disney has found one "live device" bomb involving pipe bombs, incendiary devices and military-high explosives. She also found crime-related guns and ammunition.

Disney was deployed more than 300 times for special events, public demonstrations and crime scenes. She will retire with Officer Parker Dunwoody and his family.

Space is limited; RSVP is required. Email katy.harris@asu.edu by Aug. 18.
