'Killing the Black Body' Revisited in the Era of Black Lives Matter

The ASU Faculty Women of Color Caucus invite you to a special keynote event featuring Scholar in Residence Dorothy E. Roberts, JD, University of Pennsylvania.

Professor Roberts is a critically acclaimed scholar and author, whose work focuses on the racism in society, science law and public policy (including "Fatal Invention" and "Killing the Black Body").

Roberts is the 14th Penn Integrates Knowledge Professor and George A. Weiss University Professor of Law and Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania, with joint appointments in the departments of Africana studies, sociology, and the law school, where she is the inaugural Raymond Pace and Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander Professor of Civil Rights. She is also founding director of the Penn Program on Race, Science and Society in the Center for Africana Studies at University of Pennsylvania.
