Latinx Walking Tour

The ASU Latinx Walking Tour, led by Christine Marin, will explore the hidden histories of Mexican-American Latinx communities at the ASU Tempe campus. The 1.5-hour walk will cover approximately nine locations on campus, including the Cady Mall, Old Main and Hayden Library. We hope that you will have fun exploring the Tempe campus while uncovering some of the Latinx contributions to its history.

The ASU Latinx Walking Tour is part of a larger two-day event, Challenging Power in Place, organized by the 2018–19 Institute for Humanities Research Faculty Fellows Monica De La Torre, Angela Gonzales, Aaron Moore, Indulata Prasad, Johanna Taylor and Myla Vicenti.
