Join us for a unique workshop on overcoming challenges in mentor-mentee communication to build a more inclusive scientic community. 

Otakuye Conroy-Ben is an assistant professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at ASU. Her research specialty is environmental emerging contaminants, focusing on wastewater-derived endocrine disrupting chemicals and antibiotic resistance. In this seminar, she will discuss her latest research findings, mentoring of students in STEM, and her path as a first-generation, under- represented woman in engineering.

Breakfast and lunch will be served. Graduate students and post-docs are welcome to attend.
