Life Sciences Cafe: Sean Ryder

Sean Ryder

Join us for "From Folding to Function: RNA Regulation During C. Elegans Reproduction," presented by Sean Ryder, professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at University of Massachusetts Medical School.

The embryo receives DNA from both parents, but most of its cytoplasm from the mom. We study how information in the oocyte cytoplasm defines cell fate.

The seminar will take place at a special time, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., with no treat-and-greet following.
