Lucia Mense, Recorder

The School of Music welcomes Lucia Mense, performing music from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque era, as well as contemporary pieces. 

Lucia Mense (Cologne, Germany) has collaborated and worked with many established and young composers including Michael Pisaro, Tashi Wada and Catherine Lamb, and has performed with numerous ensembles and orchestras, including Ars Choralis Coeln, Ala Aurea and Ensemble Dialog. Her performances have been released by many record labels including Ars Musici, Fashion Records/New York, Edition raumklang, Touch Records/London and Los Angeles River Records. She has been a guest artist at the Alte-Musik-Festivals in Herne, Arolsen and in Lithuania, the Jazz-Festival in Moers, Blokflute & Electronics in Ljsbreker, Amsterdam and New Music Festival Waterford, Ireland.  For more information visit Lucia Mense's website.
