When a die-hard theatre fan plays his favorite cast album, the characters come to life in this hilarious musical farce. Winner of five Tony Awards (including Best Book and Best Original Score), “The Drowsy Chaperone” is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another. Hailed by New York Magazine as “The Perfect Broadway Musical,” this masterful meta-musical pokes fun at all the tropes that characterize the musical theatre genre. This show is appropriate for ages 12 and up.

Music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison; book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar; stage direction by Robert Kolby Harper; music supervision by Brian DeMaris; music direction by Brent Mauldin; choreography by Molly Lajoie.

The Drowsy Chaperone is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
