Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Map(ing), Multiple Artists Printing (Indigenous and Native Geographies), is a biennial event based project for the sharing of culture, language and identity. This nine-day event will focus on the collaboration of five Native American artists working with printmaking students in the nationally recognized printmaking studios of ASU School of Art, Jan. 3-11.

The collaborators spend nine days together working in ASU’s printmaking studios exploring and cultivating an environment of communication, diversity, mentoring and acknowledgment of place and people. The artists have been invited to create a limited edition of original prints with the collaboration of ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts graduate printmaking students. http://art.asu.edu/printmaking/

This week long event will host a public forum with the artists and collaborators and culminate with reception and exhibition at the ASU Art Museum. https://asuevents.asu.edu/content/maping
