Masterclass: Peter Zazofsky, Boston University and the Muir Quartet

Violinist Peter Zazofsky presents a free public masterclass.

Zazofsky is a professor of violin and coordinator of string chamber music at the Boston University School of Music. He also serves as director of the String Quartet Workshop at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. 

Zazofsky has enjoyed a career as soloist, chamber musician and educator that spans 20 years and 30 countries on five continents. He has performed with many of the great orchestras in the U.S. and Europe, including the Boston Symphony, the Berlin Philharmonic, Amsterdam Concertgebouw and the Philadelphia Orchestra, in collaboration with such maestros as Tennstedt, Ozawa, Ormandy, Kurt Sanderling, and Charles Dutoit.
