Masterclass: Western Brass Quintet

As part of their evening guest artist appearance, the Western Brass Quintet presents a free public masterclass.

Founded in 1966, the Western Brass Quintet is one of the oldest and most distinguished brass chamber music ensembles still active in the United States today. The group's 50th anniversary is in 2016 and they are excited to celebrate it with a feature performance at ASU. In this concert, the ensemble performs repertoire from their latest CD featuring a work recently composed for WBQ by Pierre Jalbert. Their CD is due for release by Summit Records September 2016.
