Sometimes, when it’s quiet, there is a mystery that exists when walking through neighborhoods at night. The silence in the shadows allows your mind to wander and investigate mundane moments. In Cam DeCaussin’s painting in the MFA exhibition, “sometimes, when it’s quiet," we are presented with glimpses into homes that have become vessels of serenity, solitude, and separation.
