Join the Labriola National American Indian Data Center for an evening of mindfulness and yoga.

The Labriola Center will be hosting a “Movement is Medicine” session at Hayden Library – Labriola 2nd floor on the Tempe campus with Waylon Pahona Jr. (Hopi & Tewa/Piiposh) and his partner Johanna Herrera.

The Labriola Center seeks to orient community members and ASU students to our center, and provide a space for healing through movement and yoga. Waylon is a Native Hope Fellow, motivational speaker, and founder of Healthy Active Natives. Participants will learn about Indigenous approaches to physical activity and experience the healing effects of breath, sweat, and movement.

Space is limited. Register to reserve your spot.
