MudWorks MMXVII: Selections from the ASU Art Museum Ceramic Studio Tour

For the past 16 years, some of the most talented Phoenix-area ceramic artists have showcased their art during the ASU Art Museum Ceramics Research Center’s self-guided ceramic studio tour. The tour provides a unique opportunity, not only to see the best of ceramic art in the Valley, but also to visit artists’ homes and studios while they demonstrate their craft. With over 50 artists working in a wide variety of techniques and forms, this exhibition and sale, along with the weekend tour, allows the public to view expressive, one-of-a-kind functional pottery and sculpture. This survey supports artists in our community and creates connections between the makers, users and collectors of ceramic art.
