New to You Speaker Series: Successfully Teaching Humanities Online (TIE)

Speakers:

  • Sandra Woien teaches philosophy in the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies.
  • Stephen Lazar teaches history in the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies.
  • Michelle McGibbney teaches courses in the Women and Gender Studies program in the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies.

This talk will feature three professors who are experienced in teaching humanities courses in an online format. Topics will include how to foster classroom dialogue, how to engage in group work and how to build professor/student rapport all via an online format.
