Next Generation Leaders Graduation Ceremony

NGLs at monument

The McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University invites you to the graduation ceremony of the Next Generation Leaders 2016 Cohort to recognize the group’s successful completion of a year of intense professional and personal development. The ceremony will feature remarks by McCain Institute trustee Sen. Kelly Ayotte.

The McCain Institute’s flagship Next Generation Leaders program is designed to identify, train, network and empower a diverse group of emerging, character-driven leaders with a core focus on values, ethics and leadership.

A key aspect of the program is each leader’s preparation of an individual Leadership Action Plan. Aimed at defining the tangible steps and actions the leaders will take to bring about positive change in their home societies, the action plan becomes the central project of the Leaders development year. Each Next Generation Leader will take this plan home for implementation upon completion of the program.

The recipients of the 2017 Catalyst Grant will be announced during the graduation ceremony. The Catalyst Grant supports and encourages top achievements in the implementations of a Next Generation Leader’s Leadership Action Plan in his or her home environment. Doors open at 6 p.m. EST; graduation begins at 6:30 p.m. EST.
