ONLINE: How to Master Slowing Down

ONLINE: How to Master Slowing Down

A key aspect of sustaining mental health is the ability to slow down in day-to-day life. You’ll learn how to do mindful pauses and diaphragmatic breathing that can help relax your mind and body. Saul Castro is a clinical psychology student at ASU. His research aims to build knowledge on how adverse childhood experiences shape the way people manage their daily emotions and social relationships. He is testing online interventions that improve socio-emotional skills and well-being of whole communities. His clinical orientation emphasizes using novel clinical strategies — i.e., mindfulness, belly breathing.
