The Path Emerges While Walking

Prashast Kachru MFA Thesis Exhibition

“The Path Emerges While Walking,” an MFA thesis exhibition by Prashast Kachru, explores how capitalism, the race for technological dominance and colonialism are intertwined. The human struggle of choice in assigning value to their material and the intangible nature is at the heart of this splicing.

This exhibition presents a study of technology and the transformational value of material objects and immaterial humanity across time and space. The artworks propose that the path of our actions emerges as a choice when we walk it with consciousness, awareness of that which has been erased and with humility in owning our complicity in what is created, transformed and destroyed in the cycle of time.

Exhibition Dates: Nov. 17—Nov. 26, 2022
Opening Reception: Friday, Nov. 18, 6 p.m.—9 p.m.
Gallery Hours: Thursday—Saturday, noon—5 p.m.
