The People Shall Continue: A RED INK Celebration of Simon Ortiz

Join Arizona State University, the Heard Museum, and Lee and Low Books as we honor the lifetime contributions of Simon Ortiz, author, activist and Regents' Professor Emeritus of English and American Indian studies at ASU.

The honoring event will also celebrate the 40th anniversary edition of Ortiz's children's book, "The People Shall Continue," recently re-issued by Children's Book Press, an imprint of Lee and Low.

The evening features a keynote address by Ortiz, a silent auction and cash bar, music by the Gabriel Ayala Group, and dinner by chef Nephi Craig in collaboration with Hyatt Copper Square Kitchen, focusing on local produce and indigenous preparation.

Table sponsorships available.
